Choices in Community Living provides support to people with intellectual disabilities that live or plan to live independently in a home that they rent, lease or own.
Te Roopu Taurima’s Choices in Community Living (CICL) services ensure that personal plans are developed so that people can improve their skills and capabilities towards independence and participation in the community.
CICL enables family and carers to receive support so they can continue their caring roles. Outcomes such as being able to maintain whanau (family)responsibilities and be included in cultural activities are but some of the opportunities that this service can assist with.
