• Green represents the balance necessary between us and Papatuanuku.
• The four separate parts represents the four elements fire, earth, water and air in which we live in and which is essential for all life to be sustained.
• The three corners represent the three baskets of knowledge and everything contained within them.
• Within these grow a koru which is symbolic of our land and foliage, Aotearoa, birth & realm.
