 Awhi Whanau is a 'caregiver support' service for the whanau of intellectually disabled people. Whanau who care for their intellectually disabled whanau member at home and require assistance may be eligible for respite care.
Te Roopu Taurima O Manukau Trust have a number of respite beds to assist whanau in coping with taking care of disabled loved ones.
