 Regional Intellectual Disability Supported Accomodation Service (RIDSAS) provides support for intellectually disabled people with high and challenging behaviours or for those who come under the Intellectual Disability Compulsory Care & Rehabilitation Act 2003. Many of these mokopuna are able to work or attend work options, community based ativities and formal events.
Te Roopu Taurima operates a number of RIDSAS homes in the Auckland, Midlands, Tai Tokerau and Christchurch regions providing the following:
- Community secure care - Auckland & Midlands
- Community supervised care - Auckland, Northland, Midlands & South Island
- Emergency care & assessment care - Auckland & Midlands
- Independant supported living care - Midlands
